Going through Changes

Friday, September 9, 2011

So I have decided to do Friend 2 Friend Fridays and its just where I ramble on and hopefully someone reads it ......Welcome Gingeyginge ( http://adventuresofgingeyginge.blogspot.com/ ) to my blog I hope you enjoy..............

You would think by the time your reach 53 yrs old that you have gone through all the changes and kinda found your place in the world ........You would think !!......I will be 54 yrs old March 2012 and these last 3 weeks have been so overwhelming to me ......It seems like I was carrying a bucket with all my beliefs, convictions, and values in, when a flash mob came along and ran over me, scattering everything including the bucket like useless debris all over God's creation....It has caused me to look at everything in my life in a brand new way ...Well the fact that I was reading Eat Pray Love certainly didn't help either.....So please bear with me because it looks like Kat is off to reinvent herself again and I'm so looking forward to it .......maybe this time will be the last reinvention ummmmmmmmm or maybe not   :)

So where is the first place you go to reinvent yourself ...Back to your roots of course and here are some photos of mine ...First here is my Dad when he was a little boy and his 2 sisters....His parents were the 2 best grandparents ever ...We lived next door to them when growing up

There is Mom and her family..One of her siblings is missing not sure which one..... I never got to know my grandmother because she died when my Mom was just 14  :(

Then there is my Dad and Mom

 And of course Moi :)

So now you see where I started..... I hope you will join me again next Friday to start my new journey with me

Have a beautiful day

“But is it such a bad thing to live like this for just a little while? Just for a few months of one's life, is it so awful to travel through time with no greater ambition than to find the next lovely meal? Or to learn how to speak a language for no higher purpose than that it pleases your ear to hear it? Or to nap in a garden, in a patch of sunlight, in the middle of the day, right next to your favourite fountain? And then to do it again the next day?”
