June 9 ...Nice quiet day at home

Sunday, June 9, 2013

I am having a beautiful day today ...The sun is finally shining, my pain is somewhat mild and I watched a great movie ....We watched The Impossible and it was awesome  ....I cooked a chicken, made salads and made some homemade bread again .....Here is a couple of photos of what I made last week ...

I have to say with Michael being out of work I can't really afford to buy healthy food yet but once I can there will be no more of these artery clogging carb packed delights ...But for now I have to use what I have on hand ...I have to confess they were delicious ....So I am feeling a lot better and a lot more positive ...I have an appointment with the diabetes center here in Whitby tomorrow and I'm going to work on getting my glucose levels down to a somewhat normal range .....I am going to get my life back despite what the photos below are saying :)

I know in my heart that we are getting good news this week about a job for Michael and I am wishing it will be in Alberta ...It would be so great to be near some of my grandkids ......

My book is coming along wonderfully and I should have it finish before the summer ends .....

Oh and before I forget I want to thank all of you that comment on my post ....Your words encourage me and for those who follow me and is somewhat like me and don't comment much on other blogs because they don't know what to say Thank You for following my blog   Please stay safe all of you hugggsssssssss

“But is it such a bad thing to live like this for just a little while? Just for a few months of one's life, is it so awful to travel through time with no greater ambition than to find the next lovely meal? Or to learn how to speak a language for no higher purpose than that it pleases your ear to hear it? Or to nap in a garden, in a patch of sunlight, in the middle of the day, right next to your favourite fountain? And then to do it again the next day?”
